Jodi Gordon teases possible return to Neighbours ahead of the show’s revival on Amazon: ‘Conversations are happening!’
One of Neighbours’ most popular stars could be returning to Ramsay Street for the show’s reboot this year.
Jodi Gordon dropped a massive hint about her acting comeback during an appearance on Studio 10 on Wednesday.
While she spoke with co-hosts Angela Bishop, Tristan MacManus and Narelda Jacobs, the 38-year-old revealed her involvement could soon become a reality for fans.
‘There are conversations happening, I say that with a big smile on my face,’ she said.
Jodi portrayed Elly Conway in a recurring role on the popular soap opera from 2016 to 2022.

Neighbours will be revived on Amazon’s Freevee just months after its cancellation last year.
Daily Mail Australia reported in January that cast members Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson), Alan Fletcher (Dr. Karl Kennedy) and Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy) hadn’t been told when filming would start for the new series.
At the time, a well-placed production source let slip that the cast were uncertain of their roles, how they would fit into the upcoming storyline and their future on the show.
According to the source, Stefan Dennis was told he couldn’t commit to other projects.

‘He was planning to go on tour with his music and had to put his musical theatre stuff on hold too,’ they added.
Both cast and crew were reportedly told the reboot would be kickstarted in early 2023 but no concrete date had been set.
The original series was cancelled in March 2022, only for its revival to be confirmed in November.
In a press release from mid-November, Fremantle Australia’s Chief Executive Officer Greg Woods said the writers would start to plot new storylines immediately.
‘There are conversations happening, I say that with a big smile on my face,’ she said on the program.
