‘She went off script!’: Love Island fans are left in stitches as Jessie makes a dig at Will and axed bombshell Layla during a challenge – rehashing THAT Casa Amor drama
They appeared to be back on track after a sweet declaration of love earlier this week.
But Love Island’s Jessie Wynter proved that all has not been forgotten between her and partner Will Young during Tuesday evening’s episode of the dating show.
The islanders were taking part in tense challenge, Knowing Me Knowing You, when the Aussie beauty made a dig at her partner.
As they had to answer Mr and Mrs style questions, the girls were asked which islander their partner would couple up with if they weren’t in the villa.
While everyone chose islanders who were currently in the villa, Jessie answered by saying dumped islander Layla’s name – after Will had shared a kiss with her during Casa Amor.
Jessie’s move left both Will and viewers speechless, as the former exclaimed in the beach hut: ‘Jessie went off script’, as fans echoed the opinion on social media.
The islanders had love heart shaped chalk boards as they sat around the firepit for the challenge, writing their respective answers down before checking if they matched.
Single boy Shaq Muhammad was the host for the challenge, as he read out: ‘Girls, which islander would your boy couple up with if he wasn’t with you?’
‘Uh, I don’t really think that this one needs explaining,’ answered Jessie, as she turned around her board to reveal Layla’s name.
The other islanders were left in shock as she brought up the brunette, who left the villa days earlier after failing to make it through Casa Amor.
Layla appeared to almost turn Will’s head as they shared a kiss while Jessie was away from the villa, with the farmer quickly feeling guiltyand choosing to stick with Jessie, meaning Layla was dumped from the island.
But it caused up quite the drama when her informed the Aussie star of his actions, with the pair spending time apart until finally reconcilling on Sunday when Will declared his love with a sweet gesture.
After Jessie reignited the drama during Tuesday’s challenge, pal Tom Clare took to the beach hut to say: ‘Jessie bringing up Layla, wow.’
Will had his head in his hands and claimed ‘that’s not the game’ as the other islanders burst into laughter, before the farmer said later: ‘Jessie went off script! It was sore, I’m not gonna lie.’
Speaking afterwards, Jessie asked: ‘How do you feel after that challenge?’
